A fast-growing North American outdoor lifestyle brand focused on outdoor leisure sought a premium, eye-catching custom beach chair that would align with their modern aesthetic and sustainability values. Their product line targets young, design-conscious consumers, so visual identity and comfort were top priorities. They envisioned a statement product that blended form and function — lightweight, comfortable and Instagram-worthy.
Our Solution:
We led the ODM design collaboration, translating their mood boards and initial sketches into tangible 3D models within 10 days. We enhanced their concept with a more ergonomic structure and proposed new eco-friendly fabric options. Using FSC-certified wood for the armrests, high-tenacity Oxford fabric and recyclable aluminum frames, we created a distinct silhouette exclusive to the brand. Additional features included a detachable pillow, waterproof coating and custom-patterned carry bag.
Branding was central — we used custom dye-sublimation printing to create vivid, long-lasting fabric patterns, matched with embroidered logos and engraved accents. The result was a premium beach chair that aligned with their “everyday luxury” positioning.
Impact:
After a successful DTC launch supported by influencer campaigns, the brand reordered for wholesale distribution in boutique outdoor stores. Our full-suite service — from ODM design to packaging, production and logistics — allowed them to go to market 2 months faster than their previous supplier.
